Interceptor is fine. That I what I use.
Lufenuron (same ingredient in Program) is probably fine also. I have never used it. I am not sure of the side effects but it is supposed to work well. The only thing is your animals can still get fleas with lufenuron. The fleas cannot reproduce though. So somethimes people end up using Program with another flea preventative. I'm sure your vet will have some suggestions.
