Wanting only the best for our new baby boy, Beau, I read that Innova is really good. Only place that has it here is Bed, Bisquit, and Beyond. They sold me Innova Evo Small Bites and said it's what all the Chihuahua and other small dog owners feed their puppies. Beau is only 1 1/2 lbs at 11 weeks and they said that he would do fine on it. Now I get home and read that it has no grain in it. I thought dogs need grains?
Should I take it back...I really wanted the Chicken Soup but they didn't have it. He ate a little of the Evo and seemed to like it but I wonder if it's too high in protein for a Yorkie? Isn't too much protein bad for them? He was started on Eukanuba and I read that is not good food for them either. Please help this neurotic new mother.
