I don't pretend to be an authority on this, but how about giving him a very little Benedril before bedtime (please check with vet first). Also, I've heard putting a ticking clock in their crate works. If all else fails, you might want to think about getting him a companion. We have two little girls and they sleep in separate crates next to each other. The younger one was about 10 weeks old when we brought her home and there was never a squeak out of her at night. Both the girls remain perfectly still all night long and look forward to going into their "den" for the night. I wish you luck. You need your sleep. I'm sure with all these suggestions from Yorkie Talk, you'll find one that works for you and for your little guy.
