I am trying to get my DH on the "bandwagon" but he just says "I am going to die happy"...aurgh.....I told him that he probably wouldn't even notice the difference (other than feeling better) over a time of eating healthy. |
I was so skeptical. Thought it was all hooey and strange. I began with veggies. I eat alot of salad now that dieting is a part of my life forever. Organic lettuce, broccoli, tomatoes, croutons, salad dressing and even cheese. It didn't taste any different so I went to some dairy products: half/half for coffee, butter, cottage cheese (since I am not a big protein person) and eggs. They tasted fine. A bit pricey, though. Then I went all out with cereals, some snacks, meat, frozen dinners, etc. I went to two organic places to buy all my Thanksgiving dinner stuff! Even organic homemade cranberry sauce! And I am not big into cooking. My husband was reluctant at first, too. Until he tasted NO difference!! And does he REALLY TRUST all those pesticides, hormones, synthetic vitamins, fillers, and on and on?? It must say organic in the little circle on the package. I do my best. Sometimes there just isnt organic. But the majority of my diet is. I love Amy's frozen pizzas. There is one with cornmeal, goat's cheese and Parmesean. I could eat the whole thing by myself. WIth organic lemonade (very small glass--sugar!) Its really delicious. dogs eat organic too.
