I have used the raw sugar...and it is okay....I use it in my DH's sweet tea and it dissolves good. The only other thing I used it for was when making DH a strawberry cheesecake for his birthday...used it in the crust and it didn't dissolve...he said it was like having pieces of "rock" candy in his crust...maybe I did something wrong?? I don't know...
Cindy...do you use less of the raw sugar, than what you would normally use of granulated sugar? |
Try going as organic as possible. Please. Also watch out for genetically modified foods as well. I have eliminated heart burn (no more prescription), sinus problems, reduced number of migraines, and ibs just with eating healthier food. I only use organic sugar in coffee in am and that's all the added sugar I ever have. I also eliminated any processed foods. I watch the ingredients like crazy. I have been using a product that has seaweed and pomegranate with meals and have lost weight and several inches in my waist.
The additives, preservatives and synthetic vitamins our government allows in our food doesn't do your health any good. It's for the companies mass producing these foods and to keep them wealthy. That is all.
I have been eating organic for over three years. I had no idea! I have eliminated many prescribed medications, that they themselves cause problems too. Try not to use any synthetic sweeteners. Cooking sprays. Oils. Etc. We are not programmed to digest that many synthetics. Day after day. Meal after meal. There are many flours, sugars, etc used in baking. It's all I use. The difference in my health has been profound. Good Luck *and drink lots of clean water!!
