Mary - I am so sorry you felt you needed to hide the truth or risk getting bashed. Unforunately, YT is a place of passion and many times that passion is directed in ways it should not be.
I am sure there are many of us here who got our pups from less than ideal situations. I, for one, did not find YT until my Sissy was already 7 months old. I learned so much from this forum and all the things I had been doing wrong. None of us are perfect and we all started somewhere with our knowledge base. Perhaps if we all remembered that and treated others as we wished to be treated, not only would YT be a better place - so would our world.
