That's what I would do..I would actually start with the pee pad, and then gradually move it closer to the door you want him to go out..A lot of dogs are trained both ways..I have all 4 of my inside ones strictly on pee pads, although, when I take them out back to run when it's warm out, they will go out there too..How old is your little guy?
