our breeder lives only about 10 minutes from my house and we happened to find her when nugget and his 4 littermates were only 1 week old. we were lucky enough to become very good friends with her and visited nugget atleast twice a week till he was ready to go home. it was great because we got to handle nugget and the other 4(3 girls, 2 boys total) and start teaching him his name and our sent. i think this formed such a great bond between us! we payed $200, with all his papers and hours of talking with the breeder and getting info on caring for him. our breeder owned both the mother and father, an older male that was her husbands(past away about 10 years ago), a 9 month old petite lil female from her last litter, and of course the pups.
