Thank you all for your suggestions! They're great ones and I'll definitely check in to them. I'm already looking into selling some old/unused stuff on ebay, including old textbooks. I wish he was older so I could sell some of his old clothes but we don't have any "old" clothes!
I'll also check into helping out at the vet somehow.
On another note, I called earlier to check up on him. Apparently they've got him settled into his isolation ward
and back on the IVs. He's doing better and they're going to try and feed him later tonight. If he can hold it down (fingers crossed!), he'll be able to come home soon. I'm praying that he gets to come home early... for one, it'll offset the vet bills by a LOT and
more importantly, he'll get to
come home! I miss him terribly.
