Welcome, and what a kind heart you have. I'm sure your vet will fix his teeth, and being blind in one eye should not limit his life span. How lucky he was to have found you!!

Being around a younger one will probably stimulate him to be more "puppy" like. We have a 3 legged "very old soul" who really perked up when gracie came home with us. I think he thinks it's his job to "show her the ropes" , and her really protects her.........she ideolizes him. He has MANY serious health concerns including spondylosis of his spine which he is on medication for daily. I think gracie gives him a reason to get up and move around. The vet is amazed..................

I so hope everything goes well for you and your brood. Give it some time, patience, and most of all , love...............and things will be fine.

I would make sure the food is for seniors........and get regular check-ups on the teeth.
