Thank you for the link to the story - but I about split a gut when I read: “I understand their (the animal rights activists) motives, and we had already logged the problem and were looking into the complaints,” Richardson said. “This is going to send a clear message to anybody around Mitchell that the Mitchell Police Department is not going to sit idly by while they neglect or abuse animals.”
It sounds like from everything you said this dept. was not acting & then they wanted the rescuers to wait until Monday. Boy this guy is trying to make himself & the department look good!
