Rabies goes by state.
Parvo puppy shots are necessary and then the one year booster. After that it is between you and your vet. Some vets insist on giving them every year which is way too much. Others give them every three years which is fair. Others still do titers which I prefer. Then there are combinations of all of these. It is whatever you and your vet decide on.
The earliest I would want to give rabies is six months but some states say four months. I think I would keep my dog inside til 6 months and still do it then. Some vets will work with you on that.
