Mercedes parents are both standard colored. As a matter of fact, my Mom bred her 3 Yorkie females with the same male and got all standard colored puppies. I could breed Tiah with him over and over and maybe never get another red one. It was just a fluke genetic overload of the red genes. Mercedes dad lives in a kennel and the owner keeps him shaved down for easier care. I will attach a photo. He is very little and makes Tiah look like a St. Bernard puppy! There is also a picture of Tiah with the puppies from last week. Her tan color is pretty reddish, but she was totally a standard colored puppy. |
