AKC cannot stop the sale of any puppies. There is nothing they can do about someone selling unregistered puppies (even if one of the dogs is AKC registered). However, if a breeder falsely registers a little of puppies with the AKC (saying a mix is a purebred or falsey recording sire & dam) then the breeder will most likely be suspended from the AKC
