Thank you, that did answer my question. I did know you couldn't register mixed breeds. What does the AKC do if they find out that a breeder has sold a pup from from a litter like the one that was described in the previous post where the dam was papered and the stud was not? I was just thinking if there is a consequence to that then why do they not have a consequence for the mixed breeds, obviously in neither case can the pups be AKC registered. Seems sort of like a double standard (no pun intended)
