Nikon makes some of the best digital cameras hands down. For the home prosumer Canon and Nikon just pack more technology and quality per dollar into there products. Nikon also have very nice lenses even on the lower scale. I wouldn't buy a Kodak Digicam. I have seen so many of them tank in the first 6 months. BTW: I used to sell Digital Cameras at CompUSA
