I think you should go with a Canon..they're very user friendly and turn out great pictures. There is another digital camera thread with reviews from people on YT and a majority of them had a canon powershot/cybershot. I have an olympus 790sw. It's waterproof and droppable..which is exactly what I need (I have ruined 3 cameras in the past 2 years due to water damage!)
