These things don't really concern me if you have a healthy dog. I would rather switch and avoid allergies because they are miserable to deal with.
It's funny you said that about the wolf..We were watching a show the other day on national geographic, and it said, when was the last time you saw a healthy looking wolf? It showed them, and they weren't healthy looking at all..I know the changing foods is one thing I have discussed with different vets, and they've all told me the same thing, if you find one food that is good for the dogs and they're happy with it, then leave it..so, I do..
