Chronic diarrhea could result if they aren't changed over properly or if they have a very sensitive stomach. If that is the case I would wonder why because to get anything more than a little stomach ache when switching is not normal. We eat different foods everyday (and so do wolves). These dogs now get only kibble and it is setting them up for problems.
Chronic indigestion (same as above).
These things don't really concern me if you have a healthy dog. I would rather switch and avoid allergies because they are miserable to deal with. |
It's funny you said that about the wolf..We were watching a show the other day on national geographic, and it said, when was the last time you saw a healthy looking wolf? It showed them, and they weren't healthy looking at all..I know the changing foods is one thing I have discussed with different vets, and they've all told me the same thing, if you find one food that is good for the dogs and they're happy with it, then leave it..so, I do..
