Spike has done two obedience classes (Beginner and Intermediate), and is on his second agility class now, and he is just as good as any of the other dogs in the class. I found that there were certain things that took a little longer for him to learn, so we'd have to practice those at home (STAY was a big one, and we're still working on that, although there has been a BIG improvement). Like all dogs, they have the things that they are really good at, and things that take a little more practice and patience. The bottom line, though, is that they are smart little dogs and they will learn as long as you are prepared to teach them. |
