Yes which was lie number one that they told me!!! Now of course they are denying it, but that much could be expected. Good thing I had 2 people with me that day we bought Bruce.
Their story has now changed to, they know the breeder really well and want to protect their confidentiality...Well what breeder would want that? It seems to me that most of the breeders here (a) are proud of and love their dogs and would be happy to talk with their new families or (b) would want to know if a dog in their line had a defective trait so they could not have it bred into their line! Oy ve!
