My zoey is a 2 lber and her sister Lulu was a 3 lber at full growth. I used the cheerios as a training aid and as a before bed snack to be sure that they didn't crash from not eating over night. Worked like a charm. I would give that over beef jerky any day.
Sorry to say this...I am in no way referring to your vet...but I have to say that there are some dumbass vets out there.
