No, I don't expect to agree with 100% of everything that a group says but I do expect them to be reasonable. For example, not saying that ALL animal should be spayed or neutered. That's silly. It wouldn't be such a big deal that they take these stands but the legislation in the US is starting to shift that way and it is wrong.

What ridiculous things have they done?
This is a combination for PETA and the Humane Society.

Advocating spay/neuter for all animals/supporting AB1634 in California (what is this, communism?). It is my choice whether my dog gets altered, not anyone else's (although I would consider penalties for breeding if you don't know what you're doing).
Saying we shouldn't buy from breeders...what if I like purebred Yorkies? Is that so bad?
The Humane Society's leader is very well off (income). I'm not saying he should be poor but then they think we all should donate. Why doesn't he give the first $25,000? Then they spend all that money on colored photos telling us we should donate while they could of just sent one piece of paper and spent the rest on helping animals.
The Humane Society (and probably PETA too) are pretty open about saying if you want to be responsible you will spay/neuter. Ellie wasn't spayed until she was six and that was on the advice of her vet. So I"m not responsible? And no, she was never pregnant.
And do they think we should all become vegetarians? I have not the least bit of problem with vegetarians but to say that everyone should be is not right (but I do support laws that would eliminate farm animal abuse).
