welcome to YT! my suggestion is to buy a good digital camera with a large memory card because for the first few weeks all you will want to do is take pictures of the little baby! lol. dexter is now 6 months and i am still constantly taking pictures and videos. cant get enough of him!
but seriously, be patient and remember that it will be a baby...they dont know that peeing on the rug makes you upset, they dont know that the poop that tasts `good` makes their puppy kisses smell bad and they dont know that you have to get up early for work tomorrow so should stop their crying. no one would yell at or smack a human infant who peed on the floor or was crying at night and a puppy deservs the same treatment!
