My husband's football team loves to give me a tough time about my furbabies - I just laugh. Now,when they think I'm not looking - they are petting and snuggling them. It also helps that she wears a black and gold jersey. (you might try that)

point well taken!!! boys follow the lead of the pack so although they may have acted like that ....there is a strong possibility that deep inside they wish they had such a cool fur baby for a pet!! You keep being an awesome mommy and when they see that this does not bother you and they can accept you and your baby as one unit or NOT!!! Maybe you need to associate with others in your area who are your age with furbabies or are there any???
