She must have gotten her "masters" in poodle grooming then.
Does she think that there is only one breed of puppies? Another groomer will likely know what you mean by a puppy cut..other popular cuts for yorkies are the westie cut or the schnauzer cut. But you need to know yourself what you want/like and then tell them EXACTLY what it is that you want. Be as specific as you can and maybe even find a picture and take it with you.
