My normal vet said $406.00 for the surgery...but I have heard others got it done for like 150.00-200.00.....in NYC or Brooklyn area so I don't know. I probably would of just gone for the regular way now...for comfort value....I don't know what a scapel surgery looks like so I can compare...but all Maximus has is a little line...that scabbed and then of course he had to pick at it like 20 times and keep pulling the scab off, but it is almost healed...just a little red still....I don't know much about the other way
....but I didn't want to leave him overnight and my vet wanted him for 2 nights...I was like you are charging me 406.00 and you want him for 2 NIGHTS...NO WAY!!!
