I would suggest that maybe the groomer did something that scared him. At first I thought maybe it was the connection to the blow dryer. I know mine don't like the blowdryer. But then I thought that all you are trying to do is brush him not use the blower while you brush. If I were you I'd talk to the owner and let him/her know how Chachi acted before being groomed and how he acts now. You can't prove anything and if you tell him/her about it he/she can keep a closer eye on his/her employees. I can't see any reason for him to be scared of the brush when he wasn't before. If he won't let you brush him, just do a little and try again later, it may take all evening to brush him. Do it while you are watching a tv movie. Or use your brush, that may calm him to brush him with a brush with your scent on it. Never know, it might work.
