tumi and gracie were never on puppy food. my vet said it was okay since they were healthy kids. they were on canidae as puppies..did really really well. i just decided to switch to NV raw 4 months ago and they are doing really well on it also. I am so lucky since my vet is big on nutrition and she is also a holistic vet. All her own dogs are on raw also but she never pushed me. when i was ready to try raw, she just simply gave me all the info that i needed. she doesn't even carry Iams or SD at her office. only NV, wellness, and innova. i would say just stick with canidae as long as your babies are doing well and have no problems. mine are still consider puppies since tumi is 10 months and gracie will be 1yr next month.
