One more thing I want to add..people say "reputable breeder", well, there are a lot of yorkie breeders, that are supposedly not out for the money..Okay, now, when the bitch is too old to breed anymore, how many of these reputable breeders find their dogs forever homes with other families?? The answer is A LOT OF THEM. I can say, when my sister retired her bitch(and she was still young), she had her spayed, and she still lives with my sister(along with 7 other inside dogs, also all spayed/neutered)..She didn't just use her to make a little money, then find her a new home..I think it's terrible when breeders breed their dogs, then rehome them when they're too old to produce anymore..imo |
