If you call the police and you don't know where hes at all they will do is put a BOLO out on him.. You should wait until you see him IMO. Since I dispatch police, this is what I do.... so just from my side of it. I know this isn't what you want to hear.

And also a BOLO doesn't mean they go out in check, they say "units in the area of......." so thats why you need to get a description of what hes in WHERE hes at and a tag number! If you don't get the car get the tag, bc they can find the car info with the tag.
