My husband was hoping that San Diego would win, but----they lost. Now, he is gearing up for the second game and is hoping that Green Bay will win. Please avid football fans, don't get mad at me, but I am not interested, so I head for the sewing room, where I made Tootsie a valentine dress, now maybe a St. Patrick's Day dress.
Cabbage rolls, are not hard to make. I mix hamburg, and ground pork, sometimes ground veal. Add a couple of eggs, garlic salt and pepper. Wrap that up in the cabbage, and layer them in a big pot. Between each layer I add sauerkraut. Then pour a big can of tomato juice over top, and add a few dabs of tomato paste. And that's it! You can let them simmer for hours. (Smells up the kitchen, though.) ha ha I really don't have any exact ingredients, just whatever I feel like doing. Everybody seems to like them.
