I'd say go for it if you have the extra $...but honestly, it's not much of a difference. In 3D, you can see the face a bit better but it's actually a bit creepy cuz it looks "lumpy"...like alien-ish.. I dont know how to explain it..

They charge you more b/c insurance doesnt cover it as it's more for the parents toi "gawk" over. But honestly, I like the regular better-that was the one I emailed everyone!

I had both the 3d and regular done throughout my pregnancy!
