Took your advice and smelled his ears...they don't smell sour, just oily/waxy. I think I will wait then, watch him to see if they look like they're still bothering him, and maybe take him to his vet when I get home. Thanks so much! We had dogs/cats growing up and none of them ever had ear infections...he's my first dog as an 'adult', and my first Yorkie, so I'm a bit of a worry-wart-mommy!
