Our OB has the equipment to do 3D ultrasound. My coworkers daughter also is going to the same OB and he told her it was an extra $250.00 out of pocket because it was not necessary vs the regular ultrasound. Something to do with insurance too. She opted not to get the 3D. Is the 3D ultrasound worth it in your opinion?
