To set it straight, you are right, i would never intentionally insult anyone on this board.. Next I want to say that you are just plain wrong in your statement that private school are held to no standards. They do have ethical and educational standards to uphold. If anything, the educational standards are usually higher in a private environment. Parents expect more, plain and simple. My sons first grade curriculum is that of 3rd grade in some public schools. He is given opportunities that could not be afforded to him in a public school on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He will be studying things in middle school that others only get to in the last 2 years of public high school here.
Also, regarding your statement of parents visiting the school. Since when has this become such an issue. Unless it is for a specific activity, parents do not belong in the classroom.
I'm not looking for an argument, I'm just stating my opinion. Rex's mom's parents are giving her a great head start and all she can do is whine about wearing a uniform. Sounds very ungrateful and it just irritated me. |
