Hi all, I just wanted to comment first on this. I am (was) a Med Tech too. Where do you live Laurie? I looked into working at the Hospital in Newberry, MI before I moved to MI. I was looking for work to be close to a friend who was very ill in Traverse City, thinking I could travel to TC once a week or so to visit my friend. Little did I realize what a commute like that would be. I was used to highways all over the place to get you there FAST!...LOL Oh well. The I found a job a little closer to TC. I worked at the Hospital in Kalkaska, MI for a few months before I had to go back on disablity. So, now onto the present...
I am 52 yrs young, have type 1 diabetes, fibromyalgia and chronic pain due to a herniated disc.
I am owned by 2 wonderful cats, Moshe 3 1/2 yrs old as is Ya'akov, they were litter mates; and my Yorkie William 1 yr, 1 month and 18 days.
I used to have a lot more hobbies than I currently have, x-stitching, needlepoint, photography, ceramics have all fallen off the map. I still love to read (mysteries are my favorite), crochet, work with clay, listen to music and sing along, I am addicted to the "Law & Order" show series', being on the computer (especially YT
), cooking and baking and probably a few others I can't think of at the moment (isn't it fun getting older??

I am Jewish and I belong to a liberal Jewish congregation of about 55 families. I used to teach Sunday School, but it got to be too much for me physically. I loved the kids though, fabulously smart and full of love and compassion for others. I miss them.
I am single, have been for almost 8 yrs and I like it. No one else around to make me have to compromise anything!
I can do what I want, when I want and where I want. That is bliss!
I am content with my life and my little family.
