We put extra fatty acids on our dogs food to help with coat growth and texture...the brand we use does contain salmon oil but is "mercury free" which I think really helps with the digestion of the oil. We have not had any problems with our dogs tummies and they have been on it for several months now. And we have defintely seen improvement with their coats. We bought it at Petco and we defintely love it.
