Elphaba got spayed earlier this month. It was hard to leave her for sure, but she was first up that day..I dropped her off at 8am and they called me at like 9:30 to say all was well. They did have me pick her up that night, but honestly I would have preferred her to stay over. When the picked her up to bring her to me she SCREAMED her little head off. I kept her snuggled in my arms going home and set her down outside to go potty. Then more screaming when I picked her up. And it took her like an hour to lay down and pass out for the night. She was already feeling a lot better the next day, so I kinda wished we didn't have to move her when she was so uncomfortable.
That said, she was back to herself in no time...really...too little time. I had a heck of a time keeping her still like she was supposed to be! |
