That's a hard call. Usually reputable breeders will not sell til 10-12 weeks. My dog was almost 8 weeks when I got her and we have problems. Of course it would be good if you could rescue this dog but just make sure you can afford thousands in vet bills because it could come to that. Generally if they don't know enough to not sell before 10-12 weeks, they don't know enough to get the proper testing done before breeding.
