JUST A THOUGHT......

Why don't you clean your baby's teeth yourself ?

Yes, you feel like wretching, but you do get used to it, and it's easier on the dog than an anaesthetic....personally, all my three being 4lbs, I don't take the extra risk....I just chip off the gunge myself, and then go over them with a tiny doggy toothybrush ! !
You need to have a good steady hand and a sharpish tool, and avoid hurting the gums....it's not hard to do.

The younger they are when you first do it the better, but I have always done all of mine and they have perfectly clean teeth....even the teeny teeth the girls have.

Tara has been done from a puppy....she is 7.7 yrs, and has teeny teeth.
Casper I bought at 19 months, has bigger teeth, was a bit awkward at first, but I persevered and is easy at now 5 years....
......and Tammy I got at 3 years with terrible rotten filthy teeny teeth....I got her used to a clean....it took days of short spells to chip off the gunge, and I got the rotten ones pulled out when she went in for her spey, now at 4 years she has perfectly clean teeth.

I pluck up the courage of feeling queezy and clean their teeth every 6 months.

....Look at their smiles below ! Debra x x x
