I just saw this! We didn't ask, but our neighbors to the back of us had a vinyl fence already up for a portion of where we were going to put ours. So, we told them that we could put one up also, so there would be two back to back (hope that makes sense), and they mentioned just adding on to theirs, so that's what we did and we saved a lot of money (and gained more yard space
).
I wouldn't feel weird asking though because they might have been wanting one also and this is a great chance to do it for less!
