She really will be fine, just make sure your vet is familiar with small breeds. (like someone else said before). I would not leave her over night though, ask the vet and see if they can do the surgery early that way you can take her home that evening before they close for the nite. I am in the same boat, Otis will be getting neutered soon also, just as soon as my vet gets back in town. I am also worried, but I know he will be fine. Its easier on boys that girls I think. He will still be sore and groggy but I know he will be okay. It is stressful because he is my only baby, besides my older dogs and two of them are large outside dogs. He is just so little and cute. I think it is harder on the mommy that the puppy. Someone on here told me that when I first joined and was asking the same question you are.... They really are great here.....
