It's normal to be worried about your baby. It's easy to say everything will be okay to someone else but it's so scary when it's your baby. But, really, she should be just fine. Just make sure your vet is familiar with toy breeds and have pre-op bloodwork done to make sure she's perfectly healthy and safe to be put under. If you do those two things, she should be just fine. She'll be groggy, sore, and tired for a few days but then she'll be back to herself before you know it.

So far as staying overnight: I would only leave my dog overnight if there was someone there monitoring the dogs 24/7. I would NOT leave my dog overnight if no one was there (even if the vet goes and checks once during the night).
