I read that small bred dogs can not break down fat like big dogs do. Chewy never gets table scraps because we gave him steak once that had NO FAT AT ALL ON IT.... (A few tiny peices mixed in his food) He wound up with runny stools for three weeks and at one point threwe up blood!!!!
They exrayed him to be sure he didn't eat anything sharp...The vet bill was 300.00 and we were cleaning up dog poo FOR EVER!!! Not to mention the scare we had!!!!
