 Ruby is eating now
Sorry to let you all wonder what was going on. So much hussling to do for Christmas, and then a trip to Georgia to see our daughter and her Airforce hubby. After many tries, we found that Ruby likes Royal Canin. She is not on the formula for puppies 9 weeks to 10 months. What I like about it is that it does not smell like traditional dog food, and I like how the food is shaped in small thin triangles. This makes it easier for a puppy to bit and chew.
My next question is how do I discourage her from biting me. I've tried the Dog Whisper tactic of turning her on her back and holding her while saying, "No Bit" in a stern voice. But she refuses to make eye contact and when I let her go she tries again to bite me.
