Ahhh, they very quickly get you under their paw don't they?
On grooming....I just kept brushing...more or less ignoring the bites and wiggles. Eventually mine learned they have to be brushed. Some people put their pups up on a table and find that's easier too.
Pottying ~ I just took mine out and repeated the magic phrase...go potty...712 times. And sometimes they actually went.
Really what may work better for you....praise and treats when she actually goes. She'll catch on to those treats faster I think than free play time in the yard.
