Yes. Ditto to the last post. You were correct in your response. I found the long, retracktable leash the best training methold for outside potty. Also, many many trips outside! One of the problems I encountered at first was that the pup would do his business in the house even after he went outside. I did not wait long enough for him to finish. I would scoop him up with lots of praise only to find that I was doing so too fast!
