I used to have a Giant African Land Snail, they can get pretty big, about the size of a dinner plate! I gave it away to a friend that had another, One time i put it in a box in the the garden while i was cleaning the tank out, I noticed my Staffy was running around the garden with something in his mouth and i realised he had picked up the snail! amazingly he was so gentle he never even cracked the shell!
