You would think they would let about anyone take here so they dont incur more vet bills trying to get her healthy and dealing with the cancer.
The woman was so callous to me I was left speechless. I'll always wonder about that 13-year-old dog and sometimes feel guilty for not giving her anything she asked for just to save that dog. In doing that I would be supporting "funny business" as there is something terribly wrong with a rescue organization who wouldn't allow me to perform up to $2,000 in surgery to save her life and reject me unless I paid an additional "adoption fee."

The other thing I offered to do is to help them with their website since it is very unprofessional looking ... especially with the pop up that comes up immediately after logging on. When I asked about certain dogs with names photographs listed, she had an excuse that those dogs were all adopted and the photographs were still up because the person that does their website hasn't updated it. I offered to help her out for free and she promptly shot me down telling me the person who does the website would be terribly offended.

I don't know if I'm being naive, but wouldn't a person who cannot keep up with doing a website for a rescue group gladly want the help? I would think it's a team effort to help the dogs and egos wouldn't get in the way.

Something seems very fishy about this group ...
