It's me the pompous whatever again... Kimberly, I have a ton of respect for you, your posts are always thoughtful and informative. Your dogs are lovely and it's apparent how much work you put in to producing nice ones. You are correct that there are CH line dogs that have genetic problems also, but I do believe, and maybe it's naive of me, that more often than not a champion breeder will not knowingly reproduce a dog carrying these traits and really work hard to try to eliminate them.
The questions asked about CH lines etc were asked by dianesyorkies and repeated by Sunkissed and never answered, so I asked again. I asked about the health history of her stud because I feel very strongly that this should be addressed by anyone wanting to breed.
If you can tell me that you were unaware of what CH meant when you began breeding your dogs, I will just shut up.
If it makes me the Breeding Police to be concerned when someone doesn't want to discuss anything other than 'how much $?' ...then just pin on my badge. |
